Clowning for Schools

Clowning is a fun, vibrant way for young people to increase their confidence, performance skills and creativity.

Using games, excercises, costumes and sheer cheek, we explore what makes ourselves and others laugh.

Even the shyest chidren themselves joining in and the most disruptive children can find themselves engaged in a discussion of how they use clowning in their everyday lives!

The workshops can also help the children develop their listening skills and ability to focus, as we explore the role of the audience alongside that of the performer.

Clowning workshops can last a whole day (or a whole week!) culminating in a short performance. or workshops can be given as part of a package along with other circus skills.
